I spent the afternoon sewing strips, at long last! I've really had fun making the portrait quilt, but it's always nice to finish a project and move on to another one. And sewing strips together is so relaxing and mindless. I'm so ready for something mindless.My husband is going to help me photograph the portrait quilt over the weekend. Both girls have left now, so it's just the two of us (plus four dogs). The dogs spent the day barking outside, as if to remind me they're still around to keep me company.
Tomorrow it's supposed to rain a good bit. Sounds like a great day for quilting!
