Leafy Tresses

Finally!  I got the picture uploaded!  As always, click on the image to enlarge it.  The white areas are where the glue was.  I'm not crazy about the design.  I think I do better with realistic people instead of stylized versions.  But I did have fun with the technique.  I think I'll try this again with another design.

It's good to have our daughter here.  Our other daughter will be coming for the weekend.  I've been having fun cooking.  This afternoon I made two batches of cookies, and a double batch of my Whole Wheat Banana Bread, the girls' favorite.  Plus I put together an Italian dish for tonight's dinner.  I may not have as much time to play (quilt) over the next few day with the kids home, but you never know, because she's already told me she needs to study a lot while she's home.  So maybe while she focuses on Organic Chemistry, I might focus on fabric.
