And the Winner is...

Aren't blogs boring without pictures?  I did this piece during the summer using an Embellishing/Felting Machine.  The circles are wool and are felted to the cotton backing.  I sewed matching "doodads" to each circle.  As you can see, this is a work in progress.  I've collected all the "doodads" but haven't gotten around to sewing them all on.  Plus I still have to bind it.  Anyway, it serves as a bright and cheery photo for today!

And now the winner of my first fabric/book giveaway...
Drumroll, please...
JOAN!
Joan, please e-mail me (juliawood@charter.net) with your mailing address, and I'll get the goodies off to you!

Thanks to everyone for participating.  I think it brought a few lurkers out, which is always nice.  I haven't gotten my own fabric winnings from Pokey Bolton at Quilting Arts yet, but I'm expecting it any day.

I spent the better part of the day working out a new technique I'm developing.  I haven't gotten it quite right yet, but I'm getting there.  I won't post details until I'm sure it's going to work.

Gotta run - I'm off to get a flu shot!  Wish me luck - I hate needles.
