Six days in Chicago! Fabulous!!!! Hubby and I spent the first few days doing the tourist thing - what fun! I'd never been there before so I took every little thing in. We did the architectural boat tour, lots of bus tours, saw a play (The Last Ship written by Sting), saw the bean, the Crown Fountain, etc.
Here's hubby photographing the skyline from Navy Pier.
Then it was on to the Chicago Quilt Festival! This was the line waiting to get in - whoa baby! Lots of quilters!
I have tons of photos and stories to share over the next several days - stay tuned...
But for now I leave you with a photo of our dining room table after I unpacked my quilty stuff last night.
I have a LOT of putting away to do today! Oh, and look what that is in the lower right corner of the photograph! The manuscript for my book, MORE Quick and Easy Hexie Quilts, arrived while I was gone! I have a week to go through it and make any needed changes. YIPPEE!!!

Welcome home! Happy to hear that the Windy City was a fun tourist location and that the Quilt Show was busy!
Hi. I am from New Zealand and want to print off the pattern for your AMB Alabama block. I cannot find the link. I'd appreciate your help. By the way I have enjoyed looking through your blog.
Blessings
