Whoa baby! Two finishes in one week! I need to mark this on the calendar! I start so many quilts, so it's a big deal when I actually finish one. But two in one week - a record for me!
I call it "Peggy's Hexies" because my friend taught me this hexie technique, and I love to make them. I designed the quilt after amassing a pile of hexie flowers. I love the way it turned out - fun and happy. I especially love the rows of single hexies.
I am a wife, mother to two daughters, an avid art quilter, cooking contest entrant, and dog lover. My book, FABRIC PHOTO PLAY, AQS, 2005, demonstrates my original technique for making portrait quilts. My second book (with Peggy Rhodes), Quick and Easy Hexie Quilts was recently released.

I love it! I am totally considering stealing this layout for mine!
really really cute!!! love it
I love the layout. I have some hexies in need of a home. You've inspired me to get back to work on them. Congrats on two finishes!!
This is lovely, did you appliqué the hexies onto a whole cloth or is it pieced? I have several hexi flowers made, from limited leftovers, but not sure how to bulk them out to make a decent sized quilt
