No, hubby is not having a mid-life crisis! But he does look good in this car, doesn't he? Hubby works for an electric utility, which owns this electric vehicle. He had the extreme pleasure of driving it from Montgomery back to Birmingham yesterday. After taking me for a quick spin, alas, he had to turn it back in to the company.
If you're interested in the details, it's a Tesla. The trunk is designed to hold one set of golf clubs. I thought that was so funny! They expect the car buyer to be a golfer! (Hubby IS a golfer, so he thought that part was pretty cool.) The car is priced at $109,000. No, not in our price range!.
I've been sewing away here. It's so frustrating not to be able to show my projects here! But I do have a project I'll be able to share next week.

So now what good does it do to save money on gas prices if you're going to have to dole out an arm and a leg to pay for the car? But I guess electric cars do help free us from oil addiction.
Midlife crisis or not that sports car looks really good. Sports cars are fast and manly, that's why guys like 'em.

My dad would love to ride in that same car with your husband and go on a great adventure! He's crazy about sports cars. I mean, who wouldn't? I love the car, but I'm not a fan of orange. The car is still cool, though.
