Sometimes life gets in the way of blogging, and that's been the case for me in the last week. But I'm back and I'm done! I finished the machine quilting early Monday morning and put the last stitch on the binding late Monday afternoon.
But I have a confession to make. I REALLY wanted to use a black and white striped binding on this quilt - my FAVORITE binding! And no, I didn't have any of this fabric in my stash. So I broke down and purchased 1 yard of fabric specifically for this quilt. I used a 40% off coupon, so I only spent a few dollars.

The quilt is absolutely gorgeous! What are the dimensions? What machine do you use and is it stitch regulated? You've inspired me to buy your book and try to make a portrait of my own...
It's so fun. Maybe i should do my goofy dogs... that would be a stretch for me. love all the machine quilting. and yeah, the stripe binding, looks perfect.
