Here's Kim's other quilt, by now presented to a friend who is moving away. What a lovely gift!

If you'll be in the Birmingham area this weekend, come to the Birmingham Quilters Guild Quiltfest. It will be at Oak Mountain Middle School off Hwy. 119 on Saturday from 10-5, and Sunday from 1-5. I'll have two quilts in the show.

Tomorrow morning I'm volunteering as a White Glove Lady, and then I'll be teaching a mini-demonstration at 12:30: Funky Little Art Quilts. Should be tons of fun!

Thank goodness it's an inside show. The heat here is unbearable - hovering around 100 degrees. Good days to stay inside and sew!
